Craft Center - Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Workshops

Welcome to fall and spring one-day workshops at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, Tennessee.
~Our campus houses fully equipped studios in blacksmithing, clay, fibers, glass, metals and wood.
~Fall and spring workshops are designed to give complete beginners, advanced beginners or those who want to brush up their skills access to hands-on experiences in each of our studios.

Dates and times of sessions:
~One-day workshops take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). All materials, instruction, and lunch are included in the workshop fee for one-day workshops ONLY (30 minute sessionsĀ do NOT include lunch).
~The four-day clay studio workshop takes place Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. One bag of clay is included in the workshop fee for this workshop. Lunch is included each day. Additional clay andĀ supplies may be purchased in the Craft Center's Gallery store. Participants may borrow clay or metal working tools from the Craft Center's studios during the workshop.

~Within a minimum of two weeks prior to the workshop, the Craft Center will email a reminder to each participant with information about when and where to check-in, suggestions for items that you may want to bring, and a preview of lunch selections.
~If a participant withdraws from a workshop a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the first day, a $25 fee will be assessed. After that date, no refund may be granted due to contractual obligations with workshop instructors.

Tips for Registered Users

If you are a registered user, your profile information is stored securely for your use in future visits. Use the "My Account" page to keep your information up to date:

Current Address:

Keep your current address and your contact phone numbers up to date.

E-mail and Password:

If your e-mail address changes, be sure to update it so you will receive your order and shipping confirmations. Also, change your password regularly for increased security.

Payment Methods:

If available, you can securely save new payment methods or update existing ones -- for instance, update your credit card expiration date.

Order Tracking & History:

Check the current status of your orders and view past orders.

My Memberships:

Authenticate yourself as a member of a special group. This may allow you to view and purchase products or services available only to members of that group.

Shipping Addresses:

Edit and manage your saved shipping addresses. For instance, you might save your grandma's address under the nickname "Grandma". Then during checkout, you'll be able to select from your list of shipping addresses. Data fields will automatically be filled in for you.

Each registration fee includes a $25 non-refundable deposit.If a participant withdraws from a workshop 30 days or more prior to the workshop, the Craft Center can issue a refund less the $25 deposit. After the 30 days, no refund is available.
